Owner | Head Coach
Lacey Guillot
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Lacey has been moving since she was five years old, starting with dance and gymnastics before eventually finding her way into the world of fitness. She moved to the Northshore in 2013 with her husband, Lon, and has called it home ever since.
Lacey discovered CrossFit in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the combination of strength, conditioning, competition, and—most importantly—the community. Over the past 10+ years, coaching has become so much more than a job. It’s something she genuinely loves and can’t imagine not doing.
After years of coaching, creating her own workouts and fitness routines, and helping people discover what they’re capable of, Lacey felt the call to branch out on her own. In 2025, Lake Fitness was born.
For Lacey, there’s no better feeling than watching someone accomplish something they once thought was completely out of reach. Whether it’s a first pull-up, a new PR, getting through a workout they were convinced they couldn’t finish, or simply finding the confidence to walk through the doors in the first place—she believes every win matters.
Her coaching philosophy is simple: meet people where they’re at. Everyone walks into the gym with a different story, different goals, and a different starting point. Lacey believes fitness should challenge you, but it should also be fun, welcoming, and something you actually want to come back to. Her goal is to create a place where people can work hard, laugh a lot, support one another, and leave feeling a little stronger than when they walked in.
She feels incredibly lucky to get to do what she loves every single day—and even luckier to get to do it alongside the Lake Fitness community.
When she’s not at the gym, you’ll probably find Lacey drinking coffee with friends, spending time with Lon, occasionally running the lakefront (or somehow being peer pressured into signing up for a half marathon), or talking about Disney World like it’s a completely normal topic of conversation for any occasion.

Coach
Jacob Marlette
A husband, dad to three girls, former U.S. Army soldier, CrossFit athlete, meet Jacob.
Sports have always been a big part of Jacob’s life. He grew up playing hockey and soccer and has always loved the competitive, team-oriented side of athletics. These days, you can still find him on the hockey rink or on the pickleball court when he’s not at the gym.
Jacob served five years in the U.S. Army, where he learned firsthand the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. After transitioning into the fitness community, he spent the past eight years training and building a deeper appreciation for what fitness can do—not just physically, but for the people and relationships that come with it. He spent two years competing in CrossFit before deciding it was time to take the next step and become a coach.
For Jacob, the best part of fitness has never been just the workout. It’s the people you meet, the coaches who push you, the teammates who cheer you on, and the community that makes you want to keep showing up.
That’s exactly the kind of environment he wants to help create at Lake Fitness: a place where you can work hard, have some fun, push your limits, and know the people around you have your back.
